Very Good 3.5
Maybe it’s because I live on a stage, but I found this movie to be pretty boring. I mean, yes, we’re watching the larger-than-life Michael Jackson rehearse, but that’s all it is — rehearsal footage. The movie is put together well, but it’s just backstage clips thrown together. Other than a few scenes where you actually get to glimpse MJ’s artistic genius, this movie consists of watching him block his show while his dancers rehearse. BBBOooooorrrrriiiinnnnggg.
BTW, I like MJ’s music.
