   The story about the homeless population morphing into hideous Cannibalistic Humanoid Underground Dwellers is captivating enough, no matter how stupid it may seem.

   Nothing spectacular here, but decent all around.

    An okay film with nothing to boast. The director does a slightly greater than mediocre job at composing a monster flick, the dialogue helps movie the story along, the music is eerie, but the visuals fall flat, even for an 80s horror picture. Just not up to par with other horror hits of the decade.
