  1. Quality Help-l
  2. Perfect 5.0

Featuring one of the best car chase scenes ever filmed, Bullitt is definitely one of my favorite thrillers of all time. From Steve Mcqueen’s suave and strife to Robert Vaughn’s nagging and commanding performance, and all the way to the ever oh so sweet Highland Green 1968 Ford Mustang Fastback GT 390 (My dream car, for those of you who wish to get me a birthday present…..HINT!) driven by Mcqueen who chases the dark and sinister Jet Black 1968 Dodge Charger driven by the hitmen.

Before and after the car chase however, there is the great story and the unsolved crime that is finally brought to light by the end of the movie.

  3. Perfect 5.0

Steve Mcqueen and Robert Vaughn owned this movie. When the two get into it, it’s intense. I wonder if they got into it off camera.

Actually, Mcqueen ordered Warner Bros. to hire Vaughn for whatever price Vaughn wanted. I think it’s safe to say that, that was money well spent.

  8. Perfect 5.0

From the “groovy” and “hip” jazz and blues rhythms to car chases and shootouts, Bullitt is packing some serious heat! I love the music in this movie. Yes it all sounds like elevator music but it doesn’t sound like it when you’re hearing it as you watch the movie. Again, the car chase is phenomenal and the best part is, there’s no CGI or NOS or Hondas!!!!

  9. Direction Perfect 5.0
  10. Play Perfect 5.0
  11. Music Perfect 5.0
  12. Visuals Perfect 5.0
  13. Content Help-l
  14. Risqué 1.6

If you can tolerate a few people getting shot and strangled, Bullitt is the movie for you! I don’t think one cuss word is spoken throughout its entirety and the violence is at a bare minimum. It reminds me of a Bogart movie without the narration and a lot more exciting.

  15. Sex Titillating 1.6
  16. Violence Fierce 1.6
  17. Rudeness Salty 1.6
  18. Natural 1.0

This movie is very believeable. The car chase, the shooting, the crime, the cops, all are very true to life and are presented in a realistic fashion.

  19. Circumstantial Natural 1.0
