  1. Quality Help-l
  2. OK 2.5

Harrison Ford takes a licking and keeps on ticking…. Firewall is a fun thriller that plays upon the modern world of theft via information technology. That’s about the extent of the technology part. The rest of the movie is more or less a formulaic thriller which Harrison can do with a blindfold on, and the rest of us can turn away from for a while without risking missing anything critical.

  3. Good 3.0

Harrison was actually a really good choice for this movie. He was the draw, the story line couldn’t have done it on its own. If you have seen any of his movies, you’ll know how he is in this one. ‘Nuff said.

  4. Male Stars Good 3.0
  5. Female Stars Good 3.0
  6. Female Costars Good 3.0
  7. Male Costars Good 3.0
  8. OK 2.5

Did they actually end the movie with a Lassie-like scene with the dog barking happily at the saved family? Well, a fitting end to a non stop stream of formulas that have worked in the past. So formulaic, I lost interest and started surfing the web at what was probably supposed to be the most critical part of the movie.

  9. Direction OK 2.5
  10. Play OK 2.5
  11. Music OK 2.5
  12. Visuals OK 2.5
  13. Content Help-l
  14. Risqué 1.7
  15. Sex Titillating 1.7
  16. Violence Fierce 1.7
  17. Rudeness Salty 1.7
  18. Glib 2.0
  19. Circumstantial Glib 2.0
  20. Biological Glib 2.0
  21. Physical Glib 2.0
