  1. Quality Help-l
  2. Great 4.0

If you weren’t convinced before that Sean Penn is a great actor, then Milk should put you over that edge. The movie about SF City Supervisor Harvey Milk is the perfect venue for top notch acting. The story is all about the emotion and drive of people that believe in something so strongly, they become true change agents. This movie transports you back to those days and almost makes you feel like you are part of the gay community and the inner circle of Mr. Milk.

  3. Really Great 4.5

Sean Penn. Nuff said. Except for maybe Ernie Hirch as Cleve Jones, everyone else was sort of background support.

  4. Male Stars Really Great 4.5
  5. Female Stars Really Great 4.5
  6. Female Costars Really Great 4.5
  7. Male Costars Really Great 4.5
  8. Great 4.0

Not a very hard job scripting the actions and words of a passionate person here – all that was needed was to recreate those times and Harvey. With Sean Penn on the roster, the rest of it was like falling off a log. I had to avoid a few uncomfortable scenes, but otherwise the whole film was pretty gripping.

  9. Direction Great 4.0
  10. Play Great 4.0
  11. Music Great 4.0
  12. Visuals Great 4.0
  13. Content Help-l
  14. Risqué 1.6
  15. Sex Titillating 1.6
  16. Violence Fierce 1.6
  17. Rudeness Salty 1.6
  18. Natural 1.0
  19. Circumstantial Natural 1.0
  20. Biological Natural 1.0
  21. Physical Natural 1.0
