   Great 4.0

   The 3 C’s (Coen, Clooney, and Catherine Zeta Jones) are perfectly matched up in this satire about slimy divorce lawyers! From the very beginning I could tell this movie would provide plenty of LOL moments, and the famous Coen humor never let up. Simply light hearted sarcastic fun!

4. Acting

   Really Great 4.5

   George Clooney is such a perfect fit for the role of can-do-no-wrong pit-bull lawyer and Catherine Zeta-Jones is indeed a match in more ways than one. And as other Coen movies, Intolerable sports an all star guffaw-producing cast, including great performances by Geoffrey Rush, Billy Bob Thornton, Cedric the Entertainer , Edward Hermann, Richard Jenkins, and others.

    I suppose one might consider parts of the plot a bit cheesy, but my opinion is that cheese is a dish best served with sarcasm and humor, and Coen does it with style and flair as opposed to the typical campy shtick of other farce-style movies.
