   Too fairy-tale-ish to be bone-chilling scary, but Babadook does a good job with its story-line about a monster obsessed son of a single mom, who eventually herself is convinced of the evil her son sees. Plenty of edge-of-your-seat moments for the horror fan, but as mentioned, nothing blood curdling.
