Really Great 4.5
Despite the fact that I’m not a fan of musicals, this was the perfect musical. As one would expect, Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter work perfectly together in this film about the mad barber and his enabling meat-pic maker. From the fantastic cinematography to the dark humor and blood-spattering gore, this movie had me engaged all the way through and my son and I would turn to look at each-other and giggle nervously as Depp weilded the knife once again….

Not to be a smart ass to anyone but this is not the first movie that Johnny Depp has sung in. Let’s not forget the rockabilly classic “Cry Baby.” |
