Forrest Gump – an incredibly clever, heart-warming tale that is sure to bring smiles many, many times throughout the movie, and maybe even provoke a tear along the way. If you are a history buff, then you'll love this movie. If you appreciate the true genius of Tom Hanks as an actor, then you'll love this movie. I loved this movie. Sitting here, I'm trying to find a reason to rate this as less than perfect, but I can't seem to do it. The story was clever and very well-written. At many points in the movie you find yourself asking "what the hell is going on?" This is a good thing, because it keeps you attached, and you want to find out the secret behind this mysterious and troubled teenager that is Donnie Darko.
