1st Rosemary's Baby
1968 Really Great 15 Points

Based on the chilling book by Ira Levin, Rosemary's Baby is one of the best horror movies I've seen. Rosemary and her husband plan on having a baby, and that's just what they do. A couple months into pregnancy, Rosemary starts to suspect satan worshippers want to take her baby. She can't trust anyone- from her husbad, to her odd neighbors. It's all just in her head…. right?

1st Pan's Labyrinth
2006 Really Great 93 Points

I really don't enjoy marking movies as perfect, because I feel like I put no thought into the review. For Pan's Labyrinth, I must. This movie is just amazing to watch. The visuals are very rich, something that can only be accomplished by Guillermo del Toro. The tone is very dark and depressing, which can be a let down for some people. This is not a movie you can only watch once.

1st Requiem for a Dream
2000 Perfect 10 Points

[Yep, here's another perfect one. Please read the whole review to know I put thought into this.]
When someone asks me what my favorite movie is, I say Requiem for a Dream. Personally, it is one of the best (but underrated) movies of the 2000-2009 decade. It is also one of the most emotional. This is in a nutshell, a movie about 4 drug addicts. (one addicted to diet pills) You could say this is just another movie about drug addiction, but you're wrong. It's about addiction in general. This movie is not at all for everybody, as it can and will have you thinking about it for a long time.

1st Team America: Wo...
2004 Perfect 10 Points

I LOVE South Park. I LOVED The South Park Movie even more. I LOVED Team America more than that. That's right- Trey Parker and Matt Stone have done it again with their over the top comedy Team America: World Police. Here is one of those movies that whenever I need to go for a long car ride, I bring it with me. It never gets old. It just gets funnier and funnier every time I see it. This movie has just about everything you'll ever need to see: from brutal puppet deaths to explicit puppet sex. This movie really delivers a gut bursting good time. It goes ahead, and offends just about everyone, …

1st The Hangover
2009 Great 133 Points

A lot of comedies from 2009 have failed- they all show the funny parts in the trailer, then the movie delivers dry humor. The Hangover was one that I feared would go by the trend but I was blown away. The Hangover is on par with Animal House, being one of the funniest and most refreshing movies I've seen in a long time. Every joke they say delivers a gut bursting laugh, and I can assure you, I'm not one to LOL at movies. Also, The Hangover (I wont tell what happens) has one of the (if not the) FUNNIEST credit sequences you will ever see. There's nothing more to say about this, except for if…

1st Donnie Darko
2001 Really Great 48 Points

Richard Kelly succeeds as Donnie Darko is one of the best movies of the decade! Donnie Darko has no definite genre- its a drama-thriller-mystery-comedy. It's such a strange movie, but so well made. The ending is absolutley perfect, as it is one of the most unpredictable films I've seen in a while.

1st The Omen
1976 Really Great 23 Points

What an absolute CLASSIC! The Omen is just one of those movies you're crazy not to see. There's really nothing else I can say. Don't miss out on this, as it is actually pretty close to topping The Exorcist.

1st The Fly
1986 Perfect 10 Points

The Fly is one of those extremely rare 80s horror movies that isn't a cliche camp-fest. It doesn't have an ending that drags on, it doesn't use cliche moments and it's incredibly inventive and eye-popping. When I started watching the movie I had absolutely no idea what I was in for and when I finished, a tear found its way out of my eye and on to my cheek. You see, this isn't an average horror movie, as the creature is lovable… not in a King-Kong way but in the way that since you follow the man's journey from the start, you feel sympathetic. In fact, he NEVER did any harm through out the …

1st Kill Bill: Vol. 1
2003 Perfect 19 Points

This movie is flawless. Nothing about it made me wonder "why" or "what"- I just went along for the ride. The movie didn't stress me out. It didn't bore me. It didn't gross me out (then again nothing does). To start, the story is extremely well executed. It flows extremely well from the beginning to the end. The action sequences are like no others. There's a 10 minute black-and-white action scene called the "Crazy 88" that you'll be watching over and over again. It's so perfectly coreographed and the violence is o-so-satisfying. It's so over-exagerrated that you just have to love it. For exa…

1st The Rocky Horror...
1975 Perfect 17 Points

I say this a lot. But this time a mean it. This: The Rocky Horror Picture Show is my favorite movie of all time. To start, I can't imagine how many times I've actually seen this movie. Maybe around 20 or 25? The reason for this is… well… there are so many reasons. First off, the music is absolutely INCREDIBLE. Every time I watch this, I can easily sing along to every word and tune being played. Also, the timeless quality to this is amazing. This movie feels brand new, with its hilarity and campiness. Also, the fact that it has been playing in theaters for 35 years now- I've gotten the c…

1st Mary and Max
2009 OK 81 Points

This movie is nothing short of genius. Mary and Max is a story of two unlikely friends- one small girl with no friends, and one old man with Aspergers- writing to each other throughout the years. The movie has about 4 lines of dialogue, as the entire thing is narrated by someone telling you the character's thoughts, their emotions and their actions. The rest of the movie is narrated by the reading of their letters.
Mary lives in a brights and vivid Australia, while Max lives in a black-and-white New York. The movie starts off in the 70's but then you watch Mary grow up, and eventually, th…

1st Inception
2010 Perfect 122 Points

WOW is all I could say after watching this movie. In fact I stood up in the theater at the very end and just screamed it (and a few people got upset). This outdoes Memento and Dark Knight and is a true masterpiece. From the visuals, to the dialogue, tot he music… every detail of this movie is fantastic. The complexety is remarkable and the ending is SO satisfying. I hope this review is real… I need a kick…. you'll get that later… cheesy joke…
