As the son of a planetarium director and publish astronomy author, I have immense respect for the space program, and what it took to accomplish spaceflight. Not only was this film enjoyable, but it was mostly accurate, a trait I like in historical based films.

Gripping from start to finish, though the end is never in doubt.

Stands as a testament to American heroism, ingenuity and bravura movie-making.
