MetalJunky5000 pinged me, asking about my favorite movies. For a movie junky like me, that’s a hard question to answer ‘cause there are so many. So I’m gonna name a few Perfect movies from several genres. (To jog my memory, I went to my profile page, selected a genre and sorted by Summary quality.)

  • Action: Iron Man, Dark Knight, Casino Royale (I only gave this last 4.5 beams, but regularly think I should bump it up to a full 5.)
  • Comedies: Forgetting Sarah Marshall & Lars and the Real Girl
  • Dramas: Casablanca, The Kite Runner, Slumdog Millionaire and Gran Torino
  • Thrillers: Rear Window, The 39 Steps, Sea of Love
  • War: Das Boot & Inglorious Basterds
  • Westerns: Unforgiven
