So I no sooner sent out the WikPik News last week, touting how Cloverfield and Juno were dominating TopPiks, when both movies got knocked off their Perfect pedestals.

In each case, one or two new reviews came in rating them less than Perfect. Since these reviews came from reviewers with almost ten trust points each, they had the effect of moving each movie’s Trust Weighed Score from Perfect down to Great. In Cloverfield’s case, there are currently 11 reviews totaling 81 trust points backing up the Great rating, while Juno currently has 15 reviews totaling 64 trust points.

So now good old Forrest Gump is back atop TopPiks, followed by bad old Goodfellas.

While I had rated each Cloverfield and Juno as Perfect, I can’t help but think that the collective intelligence of the WikPik community has come to a better long term judgement.
