   OK 2.5

   Sleuth is a movie that could easily have been performed on the radio, though I assume it was based on a stageplay. It basically involves two men, one of whom is having an affair with the other’s wife, being witty and sly and playing off each other for 90 minutes. I really enjoy that sort of dialogue, but when that’s the whole movie, it starts to wear thin after the first act.

   Perfect 5.0

   It’s a movie with only two actors, and they easily carry the whole movie. Really fantastic performances.

    The design of the house is very cool, and there are many interesting shots.

    Very well written, but tiring after too long.

    Good enough. A little heavy on the violins, but it never seems misused.

    Everything is done to make two people talking look as interesting as possible, but there’s only so much one can do….
