  1. Quality
  2. Good 3.0

Orlando Bloom is holds the critical lead role in this very entertaining medieval epic tale of the crusaders. The backdrop starts in France, and moves eith Orlando to the middle east, where the clash of the europeans with the arabic is portrayed. The film does a decent job at a fair portrayal of the muslims, who so often get short-shrift in films showing this era. The chemistry between Bloom and Eva Green worked well, but as with any good action/epic – not too much time was spent on that. The battle scenes? Great! Definitely what you’d expect, plus the added twist of this being in the holy land, rather than the more often shown Europe or Rome.
