  2. Really Great 4.5

Fictional romantic tale of a rich girl and poor boy who meet on the ill-fated voyage of the ‘unsinkable’ ship. -imdb.com

To be a little most specific, this is a movie about Jack Dawson and Rose DeWitt Bukater, and of course Titanc. If you know nothing about the famous “unsinkable” ship, then read your history books. But if you don’t happen to have one available, here’s a short summery. The Titanic was a ship built by irish men for luxury. The ship was on it’s first voyage, with many of the elites of that time. Since the Panama Canal wasn’t created yet, the ship went south to go around and wound up crashing into an iceburg..and the rest is history.
Now the story of jack and rose. Jack was young and poor, and Rose was young and rich…well, there ya go… they fall in love and then all hell breaks loose onboard. now I’m not going to go into detail about that one because the fictional story within the historical story was actually a pretty decent one. Though the theme song and movie was over played and, now-a-days, underappreciated; I still consider it an instant classic and one that “will go on…”

  3. Really Great 4.5

Kate Winslet- Rose- She played the role of a young aristrocratic woman quite well, of course she was the kind that wanted to see the other side.

Leonardo De’caprio-Jack- of course he falls for the young “princess”.

There were many other actors in this film that really made it… Billy Zane, Kathy Bates, Bill Paxton, Victor Garber, among others, really put this film together and showed the true nature of everyone onboard the Titanic.

  8. Perfect 5.0

The ship was an exellent replica of the original ship. The “epic love story” was certainly there, and the writers did very well. I love how they put a twist to the story. everyone knows about what happened to the ship but no one really thinks about the people inside. they only think about the hundreds that died in the freezing waters and not how they were before the tragic ending. even though we cannot say that these are exact replicas of the people on bored, but I’d like to think that the people on board can look at it as a rememberance of who they might have been. I also like how they stuck to the original story of the ship it’s self. It’s been said that the band was playing till the ship went down, I guess to hel others cope… they did that in the film, and that was a great thing to add.

  14. Sordid 3.1

There is plenty of action in this film. The ship crashing and sinking… the fear in the people, the explosions, the fist fights, the drownings…
The love story was very good as well. You see kate’s breast in the film, and a sentual scene between rose and jack.
I like how they show’d how people really treated the peasents during that time. They didn’t lie. That’s what really kept me interested in the film, the fact that whenever there was any history involved, they kept it real.

  15. Sex Erotic 3.1
  16. Violence Brutal 3.1
  17. Rudeness Profane 3.1
  18. Natural 1.0

The love story could’ve been possible aboard the Titanic. The ship and the accident were real, so I guess that’s all that really needs to be said. A fictional story withing true events… who’s to say that the other stuff never happened? no one really knows, unless you were there.
