  1. Quality
  2. OK 2.5

I saw one reviewer call this Twilight – but in alien form. I think they got it right. Basically a teen fantasy story about a group of aliens who escaped their enemies by fleeing to earth – only their pursuers caught up with them. The rest of the story is as you’d expect of this neo-fantasy genre: humanoids with cool powers, scary looking creatures, bad guys, and boy gets girl. It was interesting enough, and my teen kids enjoyed it. Not bad.

  3. OK 2.5

Alex Pettyfer – an unknown pretty boy. He does a decent job, but relies on his looks to carry the day
Timothy Olyphant – much better known, and is the standout as the guardian
Teresa Palmer – kick-ass number 6. Not much of an actress, but fun to watch
Diana Agron – as the human girl who falls for Alex. Decent but so-so

  4. Male Stars OK 2.5
  5. Female Stars OK 2.5
  6. Female Costars OK 2.5
  7. Male Costars OK 2.5
  8. Barely OK 2.0

Misplaced graphics and too much of a hodgepodge of fantasy elements for my taste.
