  1. Quality
  2. Very Good 3.5

If you are a film buff, you might be shaking your head at the prospect of improving on the 1960’s version with screen gods like Yul Brynner, Steve McQueen, and Charles Bronson. But don’t dismiss it too quickly; Denzel Washington, Ethan Hawke, and Chris Pratt give it an admirable try. The action and characters are highly entertaining. If this were not a remake, I might give it a ‘Great’, but remembering back on the original, I can only muster a ‘Very Good’.

Regarding Wick’s Review
That’s what I heard elsewhere as well. If you are going to re-make a classic, you need to bring your A-game!
