Pretty Bad 1.5
A comedy-drama that isn’t very funny or very dramatic. Nor is John Cusack very convincing as a leading man. In fact, his career success remains a mystery. Connie Nielsen is the best thing about this picture: she brings to mind the smokin’ hot Kathleen Turner of Body Heat. Perhaps in the right role, with a real leading man, she’ll become a star.
