The Finks's Review

  1. Quality
  2. Very Good 3.5

These aren’t your Anne-Rice-ambiguously-sexy vampires, these suckers will hunt you down with pure ferocious animal instinct and forget to wipe their mouths after they suck you dry. These vampires were very interesting, I wanted to see more of them and less of the humans I was supposed to be caring about. Speaking of the humans…Okay, I don’t need to know what happened every single minute of all thirty days or anything, but we see something like day 2, 5, 8, and then we’re suddenly at day 27 and I’m just wondering what the survivors did between day 8 and 27? Did they play the longest, most boring game of scrabble ever? I don’t need to see it, but I’d like to know.

  3. Very Good 3.5

No one was really awful, mind you. I just don’t feel this film allowed for very challenging roles. “Okay, you guys, you’ll be playing very awesome, very brutal blood-sucking creatures of the night… and the rest of you be scared of them. Everyone got it?”
