   Really Great 4.5

   I wouldn’t recommend this movie to anyone looking for a story. However that’s not what this movie is about. Its a reflection to eighty’s action films. High blood, visceral non stop death. The movie begins slowly with your stereotypical action film plot line. Once past the halfway point on your way to the end you get guns, explosions, death, blood, and all the best violence your imagination can muster. Stallone’s skin is botoxed so thin it looks like saran wrap, but his trademark quiet rampage stare is refreshing to today’s sarcasticly witting action hero’s. His stoic acting does get monotonous at times. The supporting cast is typical, you have the idealist, the bully, the female in trouble, the loyal soldier and they play their part so Rambo can kill. There is no apologies in this movie. It is what it is. Its typical and that’s its charm. No flashy dialogue. No stylistic camera movement. Filmmaking back to basics. If you want to be entertained and you’re not detered by throats being ripped out, then go see it. If you want it to change your life, watch something else.
