  1. Quality
  2. Perfect 5.0

We needed a good superhero movie by the time this movie came out. Tim Burton was the perfect director to bring Batman back to Hollywood. His creative influence and humor can be felt and seen everywhere in this movie. It was dark, funny, and a needed change for the character. A must see if you are any sort of Batman fan.

  3. Perfect 5.0

Michael Keaton was my favorite Batman of the series during this time period. It got stupid after the second movie, but no one could have played the Joker better than Jack Nicholson. His quirky nature was perfect for the psychotic clown.

  4. Male Stars Perfect 5.0
  5. Female Stars Perfect 5.0
  6. Female Costars Perfect 5.0
  7. Male Costars Perfect 5.0
  8. Perfect 5.0

EXCELLENT. The sets were amazing. This was back when CGI was almost never used so everything had to be done the “old fashioned” way.

  9. Direction Perfect 5.0
  10. Play Perfect 5.0
  11. Music Perfect 5.0
  12. Visuals Perfect 5.0
  13. Content
  14. Risqué 1.6

There are some fight scenes, of course, but nothing overly violent. It’s actually less violent than some of the drama shows on tv right now.

  15. Sex Titillating 1.6
  16. Violence Fierce 1.6
  17. Rudeness Salty 1.6
  18. Fantasy 5.0

    Comics come alive.

  19. Circumstantial Fantasy 5.0
  20. Biological Fantasy 5.0
  21. Physical Fantasy 5.0

Thnk you for saying that, Wick. I thought I was the only one who liked Dark Knight better than Batman.

Regarding MetalJunky5000’s Review
I agree with you MetalJunky about Michael Keaton being the definitive Batman. All in all, I think The Dark Knight is the better movie, though if I rescreened Batman I might change my mind about that. But I have no doubt that Michael Keaton was a better Batman than was Christian Bale.
