  1. Quality
  2. Perfect 5.0

An American Classic, in my opinion. This is easily one of the most underrated films of all time filled with good laughs, memorable moments, and ever lasting characters. The story revolves around a twelve year old kid named Scotty, a new boy to the neighborhood. One day, an older kid talks him into playing with him and his baseball team, from that point on the kids become friends and go on a ton of misadventures.

Some of the most memorable characters include Hamilton “Ham” Porter, Michael “Squints” Polidor, and Ya Ya(I don’t know his real name). The best scenes include the theme park ride, Squints’ first kiss(with a sexy lifeguard, lucky little son of a b***h), and when they try to get Scotty’s signed Babe ruth ball from a vicious dog known as the Beast.

All in all, these are the best group of miscriants since the Little Rascals. A must see for the whole family.

  3. Perfect 5.0

The child actors are downright hilarious. They are all great, most notably Ham, Squints, and Ya Ya. The older actors are good as well, most notably James Earl Jones, one of the greates actors of all time. BTW did you know thats Dennis Leary as Scotty’s dad?!?!?! Strange isn’t it?

  4. Male Stars Perfect 5.0
  5. Female Stars Perfect 5.0
  6. Female Costars Perfect 5.0
  7. Male Costars Perfect 5.0
  8. Perfect 5.0

The direction is very well done. The camera shots are excellent and the cinematography captures the 60’s very well. The soundtrack also fits the film well. The dialogue is downright hysterical and memorable, in my opinion.

  9. Direction Perfect 5.0
  10. Play Perfect 5.0
  11. Music Perfect 5.0
  12. Visuals Perfect 5.0
  13. Content
  14. Risqué 1.9

Some sexual innuendos and naughty language, maybe you should keep the 7 and under away from this one.

  15. Sex Titillating 2.3
  16. Violence Fierce 1.6
  17. Rudeness Salty 1.9
  18. Glib 2.0

You never know, it could happen…..

  19. Circumstantial Glib 2.0
  20. Biological Glib 2.0
  21. Physical Glib 2.0

Thnx, again. Kids, huh. Well, if they’re really young, be warned there is some bad language.

Regarding MetalJunky5000’s Review
Solid review and interesting tip Junky. I’d not heard of this movie before but will now keep an eye out for it, especially when I have kids in tow.
