Great 4.0
Picture a brunette Thelma and Louise who are sexually in to each-other, tough as nails, sultry and gritty (sweet and salty?) and able to manipulate and get the better of the mob Guidos they hang with. Gina Gershon and Jennifer Tilly exhibit great chemistry and are reasonably believable in their roles. The film moves quickly, and is entertaining more for its unique characters than the plot itself.

Great 4.0
Gina Gershon (Corky) makes a believable tough ex-con – despite the pretty package, and Jennifer Tilly (Violet) struts her ever-sultry stuff. I didn’t see her as a completely believable vajayjay lover, but there was a definite chemistry – and hey, the two of them together was great to watch. Joe Pantoliano makes a sound rough edged mobster, which a whine that pegs him to be the low man on the totem pole scratching to get ahead.

Really Great 4.5
Bound proves that most of the viewing public has no problem with hot women getting it on and acting like tough guys… but two tough guys getting on – well, that’s a Brokeback Mountain story. Pretty excellent cinematography with creative close-ups, invigorating love scenes, and artistic renderings of brutal killings.
