1st Pulp Fiction
1994 Perfect 55 Points

" I don't believe I've had a Big Kahuna burger…." That's a line from Pulp Fiction, one of the greatest films of all time and the film I am currently reviewing. This is my second favorite film of all time. This movie is an American classic, a masterpiece, flawless, and by far Quentin Tarantino's best film and the one that earned him an Oscar for his ingenious writing.

How exactly do I explain this movie without giving out any spoilers? Well, I could start out by saying that there is no main character in this movie. The film focuses on the lives of several different individuals as they …

2nd Back to the Future
1985 Perfect 9 Points

One question I've always asked is "What would life be like without Back to the Future?" Robert Zemeckis' masterpiece is an inventive work of genius and is well known by everyone. It has had a large impact on the world of pop culture and the world of cinema. It has been referenced everywhere, in Family Guy, The Simpsons, even on children's shows like Fairly Odd Parents. Everyone has seen this film at a young age and thats why it leaves such an impact. Its at least in my top 5 favorite films of all time and one I could watch again and again and never get bored.

The film takes place in 198…

3rd The Big Lebowski
1998 Really Great 127 Points

"Nice to know he's out there, the Dude. Takin' 'er easy for all us sinners out there."

The Coens never cease to amaze me. Fargo was the ultimate mix of comedy and drama, keeping us hooked from beginnning to end. No Country for Old Men was a suspenseful thriller that kept the audience at the edge of their seats and introduced one of the greatest on-screen villains of the last decade. And more recently, True Grit brought the western back with a true bang, offering us a remake that, in my opinion, bettered the original, which in itself was a classic. So where does the Big Lebowski fall amon…

4th Psycho
1960 Perfect 10 Points

One of the most suspenseful films ever made. Alfred Hitchcock's masterpiece Psycho remains to this very day the greatest horror movie I've ever seen. Even after watching it so many times, the edge never wears off. The infamous story tells of a woman who steals $40, 000 and ends up staying at a quiet, innocent little motel run by one of the most infamous movie villains and eventually meets her death in a certain scene involving a shower and a flushing toilet. One of the best movies of all time, if you are a fan of slasher, watch this to see where it all began, if you are a fan of horror in g…

5th Memento
2000 Great 119 Points

Who am I? What am I doing here? Those are the questions our main character(a man with no short term memory) must figure out in Christopher Nolan's widely acclaimed suspense mystery thriller "Memento". One of the best films of the past decade and an instant classic for years to come, "Memento" is suspenseful, chilling, and may even leave some confused O.o

Told backwards through Nolan's(from a story by his brother) excellent story telling, "Memento" is about a man named Leonard who's lost his short term memory. Every few minutes, he forgets where he is, what he's doing, and why he's doing…
