Regarding Wick’s Review
Yeah, I know I’m in the minority on Bale. Haven’t seen the movies you mention, though I would like to see Rescue Dawn.

I did give Bale props recently for I’m Not There.

I’m surprised you didn’t also take me to task for dissing Sam Worthington given how you defended him in Avatar. :-)

Good catch MJ. That poster looks like it was an early preview. Perhaps Gosling was originally attached and then dropped out. In any case, I’ve updated to the current poster.

I highly disagree with your opinion on Christian Bale. He is a highly underrated actor. Have you ever seen American Psycho? Harsh Times? Rescue Dawn(which he should’ve earned an oscar nod for)?

Regarding ledzeppelin’s Review
AJ, there are a couple things I need to address. First, King Kong is an adventure movie, NOT a horror movie. Second of all, “Best horror film SINCE the Shining?” This came out almost 50 years before the Shining, and over 46 years since the book. Speaking of the Shining, it’s really good, but there are way better horror movies out there. Third, obviousely the ape looks fake, it was a movie made in the 1930s, they couldn’t have POSSIBLEY pulled it off. Fourth, a NATURAL?? Dude, this is one of the most unrealistic movies ever made .

Plus, it is NOT the best movie of the 30s. Not even CLOSE. I wouldn’t even put it in my Top 10.

Regarding moviedude’s Review
Good review Dude. I’d like to rescreen Matrix and review it myself. I recall being impressed that it was the first movie to effectively present real and virtual worlds with people moving between them. This came to mind again recently when watching Avatar, which pulled off the same trick, perhaps by stealing some of the Matrix’s techniques.

Awesome review, ma man. I think this is Disney’s best film, and it even beat out Batman: Mask of the Phantasm as my favourite animated movie ever (Phantasm’s a close second).

Jeremy Irons was brilliant in this. “Long Live The King!” Now THAT is one of the most sinister lines I’ve ever heard in a movie.

Thnx Wick, once I give all the Indy movies another fair watch I’ll probably review them all and give them the appreciation they deserve.

I still think I’m the only one who loved Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. Thats right, I LOVED it. But then again, I only watched it once lol

Saw the new Iron Man 2 trailer before Downey’s Holmes last night.

Looks like perfection may be maintained from IM1.

Now he’s gone public: Downey as a superrich dude who’s also known to the adoring masses as Iron Man – a superstar superhero. Tiger Woods would be small potatoes next to this guy. Stark Expo indeed.

“I’ve successfully privatized world peace!” – a line for the ages.

“You complete me” – another cheeky classic – follows close on its heels.

The two new posters in the lobby of the Century 21 are insta-classics also.

On the left side: Iron Man looking like the male ideal. War Machine’s got his back.

Rourke as Whiplash on the right side. Mickey came back for top-shelf kick-ass roles like this.
